I thank Bala for this forward. Always, I use to look at West Technology Geeks for the inspiration! The article beside is a brief consolidated information of a Simple Man who has so many credits to himself. We need to be gratitude for this great man! Without his vision and seeds for the same we might not have had the so called Great Professional Lives!
I guess apart from naming the Colleges, Universities on the Great Man, the Government (rather University / College) has to give a Short Biography of Sir MV for every graduating Engineer! But that might dilute the value of the book. :)) As most of graduating engineers (including us) donot attend the Graduation Day functions, I guess a 5-minute talk on Sir MV during the Valedictory Function would be a good tribute and set standards or inspiration for some percentage of Serious Engineering Profession Seekers. I guess the accomplishments would be definite inspiration for Technopreneurs!
Sept 15 is BharatRatna Sir MV's Birthday which is officially Engineer's Day as a mark of respect to the great MAN!
Isnt it a great feeling having graduated on a Engineer's Day? Though realised a decade later, I am completely THRILLED!

So strange that you still remember your degree name, college, year, month and day of passing?? Any other 'indexing' info ? :-)
And as a responsible professional engineer, its sad that you are writing this blog mis-using your engineering work-hours ?!
Oh God... educate these engineers!
I am misusing the time only for a comment :-)
Am still trying to recall my last UG day... :-(

Thanks for the comment... :D Last week some where i saw this hoarding on MG road "One Thinking Mind is better than TEN Talking Heads". My mind is on WORK when I am writing this and so "Innovative Hours ON When Engineering Hours are OFF"!
Thinking mind ge JAI!
Thoughtless mind is even better :-)
Remember Bajantri, Padma, Chitrasen Bhat, Subbarao, Hariharan, Chandrashekar and ...
Some of the moments I remember are
1. Sweating during Engineering Graphics Exam, I can re-live the huge exam hall with ppl looking at one other.
2. I remember watching DARR in the gallery - second row from screen
3. Remember Prakash getting SIX in EG and the most EG marks like 0,1,4,8 [:)]
4. Chandra saying "I know when and how to screw u guys"
5. Bhajji saying "Whos that Bastard" and then saying "Sorry"
6. Some Devegowda relative Ma'am who tried coming to teach us and going out crying
7. Strike for PiNga's removal for misbehaving at Ladies Hostel
I think this list goes on and on...
BTW two other important things are
IDEA Naren's Infactuation Real Story! His Bobby Deol's - "Fancy Hair Style"!
You remember the dates exactly. Good thing it coincides with the Great MV. Remember they used to play National Anthem in movie halls before the movie started and nobody used to care and walk around insulting the National Anthem. Samething should not happen here. One way of tributing the Great MV could be having all the engineering students in Karnataka if not India on 15th Sep. what say?
My first job was Sept 22nd 1997! This I remember! And exactly a week back was the External Viva. This made things very easy! [:)]
Am due couple of days to become a Decade Veteran....
We do not remember days; we remember moments.

But you seem to remember days, dates, moments and many more things.
