Bhangra Michael Jackson - Time to Turn Off RC Switch ON Anything Else!

After a dismal Performance by Bangalore Royal Challengers team, the time to move on with life beyond RC. The performances by RC team has been disgusting and more sacking is pretty much needed which can give some winning moments both for team as well as for the hardcore fans like me. Else, just move on, and the below one could be the nice way to kick the Start!

Saurav Ganguly Yet another Shame of IPL!

After the student, it is the teacher of the cricketing class belonging to the same school, showing the disrespect and crossing the lines. It is so shameful of Saurav how he defended himself and was pointing finger at Warney's behavior. (Though it was very evident that he was refering to his off-field rather than on-field behaviour). It really shows the character of Saurav and how desperate he appeared, to save his a..! Once again the game was brought to disrepute by these idiot Millionaires, who can focus on cricketing skills and performance than Childish nature of "U did it and so we do as well" kind of attitude. Shame Saurav Shame!

Harbhajan - Cricket's Shame!

Harbhajan created history in disgrace by slapping fellow Indian Team-Mate Sreesanth! The incident such a disgrace to game of cricket, cricket lovers and the whole IPL stake holders. It was very sad to see Sreesanth sobbing like a young kid, that could probably tell the degree of trauma he went through. Never heard such kind of an incident even in a gully cricket forget about professional cricket. It is good to see the immediate reaction from the IPL COmmisioner, , but to hear frmo the Mumbai Indians spokesperson saying the Entire Team is behind Harbhajan. Does it mean the Legend, Sachin also backs the Turbanator who physically assaulted opponent degrading the Gentleman's game? It was so good to see the way turbanator batted in an easlier match. All his heroics are gone to dust in a sheer madness of 5 seconds. BCCI should give extreme punishment of Life ban showing the world, we not only criticise strong sledging from opponents as well as our own players! Rest Bhajji's skills to his home!

Thaakath Gifts by RC Fans!

Have been closely following these guys Bangalore RC Fans. They started with
  • a slow launch
  • referral thru friends
  • which worked for them with hits from 25 countries
  • made it big when they came live on Local News Channel TV9
  • they have a wide follownig, with TV9 beaming the song as often as possible during the cricket related programs
  • now they have launched something called as "Thaakath Gifts"

Thaakath Gifts, I hear are for fans with certain number of friends in their login. And I hear the gifts range from Thaakath CD, Thaakath MUG, Thaakath T-shirt, Thaakath TIcket for the IPL matches and much more. Will try to closely followup how do they head.

Indian Silicon Valley is producing a unique Fan Club for their Home Team, I hope these guys set a trend / bench mark for other fan clubs to look at before they really think to start one.

My blog, am thinking to rename as Thaakath Blog, provided I get permission from these guys. This is the way to go ROYALE CHALLENGERS, Go RC Go!

Thaakathu debuts on TV9

There seems to be no stopping for the Thaakathu Song done by the Bangalore RC Fans Club. The 15 minute show was sensational and the mix of some footage along with the song, makes the song much more appealing. I guess the Tipping Point has started working For Blore RC Fans Song Thaakath - Can it be the Fan's Anthem or will the original score from the RC official team take over .

Property Junction Event @ Bangalore March 2008!

This is one of the many property events happening offlate at Bangalore.
Some how Property Junction has made the event very unique. The reasons being
  • Good Coverage
  • Hoardings - all across bangalore full of hoarding;
  • Radio - good FM timeslots;
  • TV - NDTV; etc.

Thus they have created a good brand of their own. But if you enter Property Junction Bangalore on Google Search, you never get their website. Even after entering March 2008 - no results yet. Some how i figured that out (their actual website) but it is very pathetic. Hence this post. :))

Property Junction Event Details

Venue: Palace Grounds, Bengalooru (Bangalore)

Date: Feb 29th, March 1st and 2nd

Contact Info: 080- 41225757

Organisers: Quantum Events

Btw has anybody frozen buying through such events?

Why JugMug is a cool startup
  1. I liked the Website [:)]
  2. Concept is Simple and Cool - Order Gifts (Mugs) for self or a gift to loved ones or even to people u hate [Just Kidding] !
  3. Economical - Rupees 200 including Shipping
  4. Time Saver, Rather than running around places and being worried on what to buy or what not to, just send a image of your friend with a message or think of a sentence and send an Email. Gift (A Mug with image and text on it) is ready.
  5. Launch Date being close to Valentines Day [source of life :)) ], the guys have some cool templates for lovers. I ordered for around 5 friends of mine, all were thrilled to the core. [This made me to write the blog :)) ]
  6. As am doing a marketing pitch for these guys from here, just tell them IERAJ referred, am planning to strike a deal for 12.5% Off. i.e. 175 bucks for a mug. Let them also make some decent profit as they even ship for free..

More about Urban Lads Story in the next Blog. Am completely obsessed with the album. Have got bashing from one of my friends already for maknig her to listen to this album, I hope others will take the songs pretty lightly!

Urban Lads - An Example Of Tipping Point?

After successfully screwing up my New Year Resolutions, am back here with a Mashup - Mind Mashup.

Mind - Mine [:)]

Two Applications in the current context are
  1. Tipping Point - a book by Malcolm Gladwell is all about three rules of epidemics. This was recommended by Idea Naren, enabling my thoughts if I could create a Tipping POint myself. (Was it really so?)
  2. Urban Lads - a new album launched last week by College Kids Of Bangalore. Again Idea Naren had suggested this. But Yday I could see these folks near Jayanagar COmplex. Wasnt very impressed in the first quick glimpse. The reason being - 'Was this the way of promoting a Album?'. Again I saw abt them in Bangalore Mirror. Again a Blog by Idea Naren abt the same. In the evening got a call from Dad abt they being live on TV9! I couldnt resist to have a glimpse of the show. The guys were really Cool! I cudnt resist in running to a local shop and buy the Album! I think the Tipping Point had already started working for Urban Lads! No amount of Marketing Heads with Big budgets can create this kind of Tipping Point in so little a time.

Its 4:28 AM, have heard to some of the songs atleast 5 times from past few hours, the numbers are really catchy and some very funny! I am impressed with the number

  • "Bangalorization" and the line that runs through my mind is "Musicalli Kannadana Maadtheevi Naavu Worldwide!!"

Other songs

  • Maada beda
  • Dual Mind
  • Just Miss U

are not boring yet!

BTW Thanks to Urban Lads that I ran into my good old friend at "The Calypso" who had moved back to India for Good.

BTW Mind Mashup is my mind mashing up Tipping POint and Urban Lads!
